America = America's Cup
The America's Cup flies home! In the competition between the Super-Hightech-Yachts,
BMW Oracle Racing was beating the Alinghi definitely.
From the beginning of the second and determining race the American Yacht was leading and extended his lead, winning by a clear margin of over five minutes. After winning the first race on friday with a margin of over 15 minutes, the BMW Oracle Racing is the winner of the 33. America's Cup.
The second fascinating match I enjoyed myself in a kindly ambience in the habour of Valencia. The air full of different languages from around the world pointed out the international relevance of the America's Cup. As well we all had forgotten the late start of the second race. Because of light winds the race started lately at 4 p.m. MEZ.

Justice Kornreich of the New York Supreme Court informed the America's Cup
defending yacht club, Société Nautique de Gen`ve, and the
challenging Golden Gate Yacht Club today via telephone conference that she
will not hear the American challenger's complaint regarding the 'constructed
in country' requirement of the Deed of Gift before the 33rd America's Cup
Match which is scheduled to begin on the 8th of February.
This means the 33rd America's Cup is free to proceed as ordered by previous
New York rulings: in Valencia on the 8, 10 and 12 February!
"This is excellent news. We are delighted that BMW Oracle's attempts to
disqualify Alinghi and to win the America's Cup in court have been denied.
We look forward to meeting them on the start line here in Valencia on 8 February
to race for the Cup; something they can no longer try to avoid,"
said Ernesto Bertarelli - two-time America's Cup winner - on hearing the
news when returning ashore after today's race training session.

Flying Sailing-Yachts
From the 8th to the 12th of february 2010, the 33th America's Cup will take place
in Valencia, Spain. For the second time, I am proud to see the eldest sailing regatta
at the 'city'beach of my choosen new homecountry.
After judges, lawyers, courts and dry disputes, we are back in the water. Looking at
the fotos, one will imagine that this time we are not sailing any longer, but flying
like, no not eagles, but like an Airbus 380. The Wing of BMW Oracle's Trimaran has
a longitude of 57 meters, more than 600 squaremeters! And the speed: around 40kn,
around 74 km/h! Amazing, doesn't it?
And Alinghi with his catamaran is impressing as well as his challenger.

For some time, our club has his own presentation in the Internet!
Suggestions or information from our member base, I got some in
person, congratulating the Association Committee on the page. Some SMS messages
are asking about the continuity of an "Editorial Column". It is scheduled
to November, December, it will be continued.
During the last six months, the management has decided to set some new arrangements, in brief: First, expand the activities of the Suisse WorldWide in the south of Germany (area of Constance and Pforzheim). Second, Spain and France will be continued. Third, it is provided for a new focus on Italy.
A bimonthly report will be presented from today on about the development of our network.
In the next time, I will you inform about new members of our network.
